REVOLUTIONARY NEW MINI-TOOL The Teletest "LATCH and FIRE" Mini-Test tool. This radical design combines the latest light-weight engineering materials and latch design to provide a tool that is lightweight, easy to use and requires only 42mm clearance between the pipes. The use of the latest CAD design software has allowed improved coupling between the transducers and the pipe, maximizing the amplitude of the signal. In addition, the transducers are now retractable, extending their lifetime.
The benefits of this tool over conventional fixed-tool designs include::
The tool is available now for pipe diameters of 1.5" to 5" and supersedes the heavy fixed tools. TOOL SPECIFICATION Tool Description: A lightweight, easy to use guided wave tool for use on small diameter piping in difficult to access areas. Minimum Access Requirements: 42mm 2”-3” clearance between pipes, 230mm 9” exposed length of pipe. Modules Wave Mode: Torsional. Transducers: 3 x Plant Integrity standard transducer in recessed mounting. Ring Quantity & Spacing: 3 rings spaced 30mm. Operating Temperature: Pipe Temperature: -30°C -22°F to +90°C 194°F. Material: Laser Sintered, Metal Matrix Composite (MMC) with anodized aluminum mount pins. Collars Sizing: Available in sizes for 1.5”, 2”, 3”, 4” & 5” diameter pipes conforming to ASME/ANSI B36.10. Material: Carbon-Kevlar composite with integral Polyurethane Bladder. Operating Temperature: Ambient Air Temperature: -30°C -22°F to +90°C 194°F. Operating Pressure: 28 PSi.
