The addition of complex environments, several technical disciplines and massive amounts of data make the management of an integrity program a task for a dedicated professional Project Manager. At Coast NDE we strive to hire and train Project Managers that understand and manage the complexities required to deliver top quality data while working within project costs.

Mechanical Integrity Inspection

Tom Fenno

Mechanical Integrity Supervisor

Tom brings 10 solid years of experience providing comprehensive Mechanical Integrity Inspection programs to the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Pulp and Paper, and Power Generation industries. He has effectively developed, implemented, managed, and performed mechanical integrity inspections meeting API, OSHA, EPA, ASME, and other jurisdictional requirements.

Tom has had extensive service as an API 510 inspector and holds a current 510 certification. He is well versed in conventional NDE disciplines utilizing both manual and automated acquisition systems. He is also efficient in categorizing plant equipment, researching historical data, formulating inspection plans, utilizing databases to manage inspection and equipment data, and providing fitness for service calculations.


 
Manage Large Dig Programs

Scott Wallace

West Coast Regional Manager

Scott brings extensive industry experience from his numerous years in the pipeline industry, his most important quality is his ability to manage large complex projects. Mr. Wallace works with all the Coast NDE crews in California, Arizona, Utah, Oregon and Washington State and has demonstrated his ability to manage large dig programs and ensure all the crews are equipped, willing and able to provide the high quality service our client expect.

One of Scott's clients commented "Scott always seems to be at in the right place at the right time. If I have questions about a dig - Scott already has anticipated my need." Needless to say Scott has a keen focus on what Coast NDE clients need from their Integrity Management Plan and takes steps to make sure these needs are addressed.

Scott joined Coast NDE as our California Regional Manager in early 2005 and is based in Sacramento, CA.

Dennis Thibault

Safety Officer

Mr. Thibault is a recent arrival from Denver, CO and comes to Coast to Coast with over 25 years of management, accounting, customer service, sales, and administrative experience.

Mr. Thibault has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene and brings a collaborative attitude to the Coast NDE Management team.

  • Direct and supervise Health, Safety Policy.
  • Review and update Health & Safety policies, including site specific plans.
  • Develop Safety Committee.
  • Provide safety and industry training for company employees, including NCCER (Master Trainer) and Veriforce (Evaluator) Operator Qualifications.
  • Perform safety audits of construction activities, and accident investigations.
  • Provide technical guidance on environmental issues

 
Inline Inspection, ILI

Jeff Ector

Houston Regional Manager

Mr. Ector joined Coast to Coast NDE in September 2005 after several years working in the inline inspection industry (ILI). He specialized in risk management, root cause analysis and data result validation. Jeff has supplemented his career in ILI and gained valuable experience as a pipeline integrity/NDE technician certifying to industry and in-house qualifications in ultrasonic’s and magnetic particle testing.

Jeff traversed through the ranks as a Jr./ Sr. Tech, Project Lead, Project Manager and most recently as the Houston Regional Manager. Jeff brings 20 years progressive experience in project management, pipeline inspection, leadership, B31G/RSTRENG/DOT codes, cost analysis & forecasting, field service, budgeting and customer service.

Jeff, his wife Kristina and daughter Samantha make their home in Conroe, Texas.


 
Pipeline Integrity Assessment

Robert Savoie

Project Manager, Pipeline Integrity, Canada

Rob joined the Coast NDE in 2005 and has excelled in the field as a crew supervisor in pipeline integrity assessments. Rob is a Certified NDE Technician gaining industry qualifications in UT, MT, and PT Inspection to SNT and NRCan (CGSB).

Rob has been involved in conventional NDE Disciplines and Corrosion Surveys for over eight years. His experience in the Fabrication, Oil and Gas, Tank Farm, and Pipeline Industries make him a well qualified, knowledgeable Senior Lead Technician for Coast NDE.

Rob is well versed in Gas Plant Shutdowns, and is familiar with Automated UT systems, PMI, and MFL equipment and has used them extensively. Focused on client services, Rob is fluent French, adding value to our clients. He is very conscientious and strives to surpass Coast NDE client expectations.

Rob has recently transferred to Coast Canada to work as a Field Project Manager in Edmonton and Calgary.


 
Petrochemical Industry

Matthew Mann

Manager Integirty Assessment Reporting

Mr. Mann brings with him15 years of experience in the Petrochemical Industry. His progressive responsibilities included project management, leadership, production controller, troubleshooting, customer service, and team organization.

Mr. Mann has years of extensive training in Law Enforcement Industrial Firefighting at Texas A&M University, HazMat, OSHA, and DOT Regulations. Currently one of his job duties is to ensure the accuracy of all field reports for client review.
